Hydrangeas are a classic wedding flower, often used in conjunction with other blooms to form a supportive base to a bouquet or to add volume to centerpiece designs, but they are just as pretty on their own and perfect for a wide variety of wedding styles! Whether you’re hosting a formal black tie winter wedding, or a preppy outdoor garden party, hydrangeas will work perfectly. These timeless blooms are perfect for brides on a budget, since one stem can have the same volume as several roses!
We styled our White Hydrangea Collection with and airy bridal gown with beaded detailing and a soft sage green bridesmaid dress, but these bouquets can truly compliment any wedding style. In fact, hydrangea bouquets can be the perfect accessory to an elaborate beaded gown or even a bold print, since they won’t fight with pattern or intricate details! Bold not your style? Hydrangeas are perfect with with pastels (and jewel tones, and black, and neutrals). They are truly the chameleon of wedding flowers, taking on the feel of whatever wedding style they are paired with!
Our White Hydrangea Collection features bouquets in three sizes: Bridal Bouquet, Bridesmaid Bouquet and Petite Bouquet (perfect for Junior Bridesmaids, Flower Girls, or Mothers). These classic round bouquets can compliment any dress style or color, from casual to formal, and we’ll coordinate the ribbon color to match your wedding day vibe.
Flower Lab Pro Tip: Hydrangeas LOVE water. If you’re out taking photos in the heat of the summer, make sure you keep the stems in vases of water or even spray down the blooms between shots to keep them looking fresh and full.
To make sure everyone in the wedding party is accounted for, the Collection also features corsages, boutonnieres and flower crowns of white Spray Roses to compliment the Hydrangea bouquets. (They might be chameleons, but hydrangea are not suited to be out of water all day on a boutonniere or corsage).
Fluffy hydrangeas are the perfect centerpiece flower! We offer two sizes of centerpiece: Classic and Petite. The Classic size is perfect on a 48” or 60” round guest table, and the Petite is idea for 36” round tables, scattered down a feasting table along with our DIY Candle Kit or as a floral accent on bars and escort card tables! The centerpieces come ready to “plop and drop” in clear glass vases, or you can upgrade to a gold or silver compote for a small fee.
